$30 for the permit (whole year)

Application forms for on-street parking are included in the letters of offer that are sent out in January.

Returning residents for 2009

Returning residents may apply for a place in the secure back car park. There are 69 spaces available and permits are allocated by the Principal.

Secure parking costs: $80 refundable bond

$200 for the permit (whole year)

Applications forms for the back car park are available at the front office as of the 1st of October 2008.

Waiting list

Car parking permits are usually sold out within the first two weeks of semester. If you acquire a car after that time it is unlikely that a permit will be available. You are welcome to put yourself on the waiting list at the Front Office. Permits sometimes become available at the end of semester if residents leave in mid-year.

The office will contact you if one becomes available. Permits are allocated by the Principal.

Alternatives

Monash sells parking permits for its surrounding car parks at the beginning of each year. These usually sell out within the first few weeks of semester. It may be possible to obtain a permit from a deferring student mid-semester.
