Academic Guests

Mannix College offers accommodation to Monash University academic guests throughout the year. The College is conveniently situated directly across from the University. Many of our guests return every year.

The guest flats are often booked many months in advance. We recommend booking well ahead.

The guest rooms are comfortably furnished, with ensuite bathroom and most with television sets. Linen and towels are provided for guests and the rooms are cleaned each week day. Every room has a direct telephone line with voicemail and access to the Monash University network. Internet access can be arranged providing the guest has a Monash University ID number or user name.

All meals (excluding Saturday night dinner) are included in the tariff.

Our academic guests are invited to attend formal dinners on Wednesday nights and to make use of our Senior Common Room.

Check In/Out

Check in is after 12 noon on the day of arrival, unless by prior arrangement. Check out is prior to 10.00am on the day of departure. Luggage made be stored with the office on weekedays for guests to collect before the office closes at 4.30pm.

Parking

Parking is available for guests in our front car park. Please request a parking permit at the time of booking - cars which are parked without a valid parking permit will be fined by the Monash Council.

Airport Shuttle

The Dandenong Airport Bus stops directly in front of the College. Bookings are required by 4pm the previous day and may be made on (03) 9782 6766. The airport pickup is on the ground floor outside the International terminal. Fares are approximately $25 per person.

$100 deposit is required to confirm the booking (at our discretion, a $200 deposit is sometimes required). We accept Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard. We regret we cannot accept Diners Club or American Express.
